Voices in the Community
Each person has a voice. Each voice has a story.
Through the words of patients, clients, caregivers and providers, our Voices in the Community video series is sharing stories that highlight some of the amazing work being done across the LHIN.
Each month, a new video detailing how LHIN funded services and programs are making a difference for residents is screened at our board meeting and shared online with our staff, stakeholders, partners and the public to enjoy.

Naromie's Story - Our latest Voices in the Community feature
This month’s Voices in the Community video shares Naromie's story. Naromie fled with her family from Haiti to Canada, settling in Ontario's Niagara region. As a French-speaking individual, Naromie found it difficult at first to articulate her health challenges. Circumstances began to change for the better when Naromie was referred to Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton/Niagara (CSCHN) in Welland to receive services in French.
